Week-end with the deer

Watching the most noble animal of the forest during the mating period, observing imposing red-deer fighting one against the other to get a harem, hearing the strong call: “the roar”. Two days walking across the wildest forests in the Park, in Autumn when the leaves of the threes are very coloured: the yellow of the beech-threes, the red of the maples and the green of the conifers.

PROGRAM
1st day: Meeting with the guide at 10.00 o’clock. Excursion “on deer tracks” to Lago Vivo-Monte Serrone, habitat of the deer, packet lunch; return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
2nd day: Excursion to Pianezza, climbing to Monte Marsicano, another very important place to observe the deer. Packet lunch and return to Pescasseroli. Typical food tasting: “Bear’s snack”
