Camosciara - Waterfalls
A stroll to admire the beautiful natural amphitheater of Camosciara, the ideal habitat of the chamois. Tracing the creek Scerto, visit the waterfalls of the Nymphs and Tre Cannelle.
A valley where the characteristics of Alpine in 1923 was born the National Park of Abruzzo, the dean of the Italian parks. The Integral Reserve established here underlines the high natural value, enriched by numerous plant and animal species present: the Brown Bear symbol of our Park, the Abruzzo chamois, the Lady's Slipper, the orchid's largest and most rare in Europe and the black Pine Villetta Barrea. Tracing the creek Scerto, visit the waterfalls of the Nymphs and Tre Cannelle and observing carefully we will have the opportunity to see some of the animals that inhabit this wonderful valley.
Program
After a short trip by own car, there incammineremo on a pedestrian street closed to traffic until you reach the foot of the Camosciara and from there take the path that will lead us in a few minutes to go before the waterfall Tre Cannelle and shortly after that of the Nymphs.

hiking boots, water bottle, backpack, glasses for the sun and sunscreen, snack, sweatshirt or fleece, raincoats.

How the reach us
Rome Highway 24, branch to Pescara, exit Pescina, continue to Pescasseroli. In Pescasseroli you can also get by train to Avezzano (line Rome - Pescara) and connecting bus with Pescasseroli or directly by bus from Rome (Piazzale Tiburtina Soc ARPA). For all those who come from the South, the arrival station is Castel di Sangro and then connecting bus to Pescasseroli
