Discovering landscapes. Colli Alti e Bassi
Short excursion to read and interpret the landscape and history of Pescasseroli
Morning excursion to the Colli Bassi e Alti area, among coniferous woods and dry stone walls, to "read" and interpret the landscape around Pescasseroli. This charming village is located at 1167m and despite its height it is completely located on the plain. Along the hike you will be able to know the story here stratified century after century, thanks to signs we will encounter along our path. Landscape reading will help us understand how it was and how life is in these isolated mountain areas.
The excursion starts directly on foot from the Ecotur site (Via Piave 9 Pescasseroli) and after a short urban stretch along a path crossing a coniferous forest. Once in Colli Alti you find dry stone and stone hills, a sign of an agricultural past and opens a wide panorama across the valley. The descent will take place on another path. Return is scheduled for 13:00.
