Park under the stars - astronomical Excursion
Short evening excursion to enjoy the park at night and watch the starry sky with the help of an expert astronomer
The National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise with its highlands and his lack of light pollution is the ideal location for astronomical observation. This year, therefore, we suggest this magical "walk among the stars" in the company of Paul Ruscitti, an expert astronomer and engaging, which will tell us the sky in all its aspects - scientific literature. Come with us to discover the secrets of heaven, surrounded by untouched nature and wild that will frame the starry firmament. We will see shooting stars, the constellations, learn about the planets, watching the moon, tell the stories of classical mythology, immersed in the calm atmosphere of the nature of the park at night. The excursion will take place at about 1450 meters above sea level, far from population centers and, therefore, in the absence of light pollution.
Hiking boots or sneakers, light raincoat or poncho, long pants, backpack, wool hat, jacket (possibly gore-tex), torch, mat to sit on, cover or blanket. We recommend that you dress in layers, whereas during astronomical observation might get cold.

How the reach us
Rome Highway 24, branch to Pescara, exit Pescina, continue to Pescasseroli. In Pescasseroli you can also get by train to Avezzano (line Rome - Pescara) and connecting bus with Pescasseroli or directly by bus from Rome (Piazzale Tiburtina Soc ARPA). For all those who come from the South, the arrival station is Castel di Sangro and then connecting bus to Pescasseroli
