Difficulty scale for hiking

(Easy)

Easy tour. It requires minimum physical effort, presents fairly level and has reduced length. The difference in height is usually between 0 and 200m. Routes, usually well marked, on roads, mule trails or comfortable, with clear paths, with no orientation problems. Their journey requires basic mountaineering equipment.

(Medium/Easy)

Average excursion easy. It requires some physical exertion, has a vertical drop and / or length content. The difference in height is usually between 200 and 400m.

(Medium)

Excursion relatively demanding that requires a discrete physical effort, presents hilly and / or length is not reduced. The total uphill altitude difference is usually between 400 and 700m.

(Difficult)

Demanding hike that requires an important physical exertion, presents considerable differences in height or length important. The total uphill altitude difference is usually comprised between 700 and 1200m.
