Discovering the bear (bearwatching)
On the traces of the Marsican brown bear, with bearwatching attempt, dinner in kuntain hut and evening excursion
This excursion is certainly the best known among our initiatives ... the hike over the years has given us much satisfaction and allowed us to get closer to the bear. After an adjustment path that will allow us to learn about the habitat and life of the bear, we look carefully grasslands waiting for bear , but also of other animals (deer, wild boar, deer and wolves). Supper campfire in moutain hut. Than the descent begins, in the dark, under the stars, with the help of some weak flashlight. We advise everyone to read carefully the rules of "Ecosofia", to help the guides to conduct a stakeout in full respect of the animals.
Equipment
Hiking shoes, light raincoat, hat, water bottle, backpack, long pants, hat and wool gloves, jacket (possibly gore-tex), t-shirt parts, flashlight, binoculars. We recommend that you dress in layers, whereas in ambush might get cold.

How the reach us
Rome Highway 24, branch to Pescara, exit Pescina, continue to Pescasseroli. In Pescasseroli you can also get by train to Avezzano (line Rome - Pescara) and connecting bus with Pescasseroli or directly by bus from Rome (Piazza Tiburtina Soc ARPA). For all those who come from the South, the arrival station is Castel di Sangro and then connecting bus to Pescasseroli.
